Take My Rupees is a fan-made guide and database, offering a complete overview of pre-order bonuses for The Legend of Zelda games. Created by and for Zelda fans, it helps find pre-order bonuses available per region. The website gets continuous updates with details directly from retailers worldwide, making it the most complete source for Zelda pre-order bonuses.
Founding
TwilightRealm, a lifelong Zelda fan, collector, and senior front-end engineer from the Netherlands, founded Take My Rupees in 2015. Following the surge of merchandise released since the Zelda series’ 25th anniversary in 2012, she wanted to create a platform to track the latest news on collectibles, memorabilia and officially licensed merchandise. She decided to share it with the Zelda community and so, she registered takemyrupe.es on July 26, 2015. Initially, she only used social media as a platform for posting Zelda merchandise news. The website was not fully utilized until early 2023, when she officially launched the website with the first pre-order bonus guide for Tears of the Kingdom. Her goal is to provide Zelda fans with the latest news on Zelda merchandise, collectibles and memorabilia. As such, she hopes to one day grow Take My Rupees into an extensive database of Zelda merchandise released since 1986.
Today, the website functions as a comprehensive pre-order guide database, cataloging nearly 200 unique pre-order bonuses across five Zelda games. For the latest news on Zelda merchandise, be sure to follow Take My Rupees on Bluesky and Instagram.
